Nightshade By Andrea Cremer - Review

Nightshade By Andrea Cremer

Details: Hardcover 452 pages
Published October 19th 2010 by Philomel
Young Adult - Recommended 12 - 17 years

Nightshade Series - Nightshade Book #1, Wolfsbane Book #2, Bloodrose Book #3

Visit nightshadebook.com

Description: (Goodreads) Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she'll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers. But when she violates her masters' laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything— including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

My Thoughts: This book caught my eye not only by the beautiful cover but all the things I had read about Nightshade. I just couldn't wait to read it so off to the library I went and from that moment, I opened this book I couldn't put it down. I liked it so well that I bought this book for my daughter who just loves werewolf stories. Now she is hooked and we are both waiting for the second book Wolfsbane to come out in July 2011.

Calla the alfa female, Ren the alfa male & Shane the human the main characters were easy to follow and get to know... Calla was so strong not only as her human form but also as her wolf form and I instantly fell in love with this character and wanted to find out how her life was going to turn out. Calla was betrothed to Ren but she also was wanting to be with Shane. Shane had a mystery shadowing him and this story was off and running from the first sentence and continued to the end.

I really enjoyed this book and have no problem recommending it to anyone. I can't wait for Wolfsbane to hit the book stores this July. I rate Nightshade 5/5 stars.

Doodles Alphabet Coloring Fun - Review

Doodles Alphabet Coloring Fun
By Setria James

Details: Paperback, 32 pages
Published October 15th 2010 by AuthorHouse

Description: (Goodreads) To help your child identify each letter of the alphabet, on the upper left-hand corner of the page is the letter and below are doodles starting with the matching letter. There are up to 52 images, for children to discover and color. Perfect for learning the alphabet!

My little girl just loved this coloring book as you can see in the picture above and I was really happy that it had nice size pictures to go with the alphabet letters and the words so she can color them. I was able to sit down with her and read the words to her and the alphabet letter while she colored the picture that matched the word and the letter.

This was an educational tool for her to have fun with and it makes mom happy that she is learning while having fun. I rated the Doodles Alphabet Coloring Fun Book 5/5 Stars. didn't like itit was okliked itreally liked itit was amazing
