My Thoughts:

My Heart And Soul - Wow what a perfect title for this book. This is a very beautifully written Poetry book with emotion spilling out on every page read. What a wonderful outlet she had while going threw her life challenges and obstacles.

She writes these poems in a way that you can feel her emotion about the way she is feeling at the time she wrote it. I can relate to some of the same things I myself have had to deal with as a child and as an adult. Although I can't possible relate to everything she has gone threw in her life, this poetry book has still helped me understand the other things I have never gone threw.

I really enjoyed these poems she has written in her book. I believe this will be a tool for many others that have gone threw the same things that Marilyn has dealt with. I recommend this book for those going threw life's challenges, those who love poetry and actually I recommend this book to everyone.

Way to go Marilyn for over coming all of the things that life has thrown at you. You are a true survivor of many things.


About The Author:

Her writings reflect her life story as she uses her craft to express her thoughts and feelings about not only her life events, but also about social issues in today’s world. She is a recovering alcoholic with 19+ years of sobriety, which she attributes completely to the success and many achievements she has accomplished. Her life struggles range from sexual abuse issues beginning in her childhood to the devastating loss of family members and eventually the loss of her spouse who succumbed to cancer after a long, seven year battle with that dreaded disease, which took it’s toll on her life and health as well. Remaining steadfastly faithful and God inspired has been the key to carry her through some very difficult life experiences. She maintains a positive attitude today with an open and loving heart and when life becomes difficult as it sometimes does, she continues to stay upbeat and positive, always expressing her message of hope and steadfastness and never giving up.

My Thoughts:

This book was a pleasure to read. I really enjoyed how this book taught different manners simple for young children to understand and learn. The pictures in the book were wonderfully illustrated full of bright colors and kept my little girls attention while I read to her.

Miss Mandy Manners teaches different manners with each page you read. This book makes it easy for young children to enjoy and to learn good manners. It's very educational and fun to read. I sure was happy to find this book I believe that my daughter will have a wonderful time learning about good manners again and again and again.
