Achieve Anything In Just One Year Review

Achieve Anything In Just One Year by Jason Harvey
Be Inspired Daily to Live Your Dreams and Accomplish Your Goals

Published: January 1, 2010 by Amazing Life Press
Paper Back - 376 pages

ISBN: 0981363903
ISBN13: 9780981363905

Win it: Enter The Giveaway for 1 copy of this book here.

Description: A self improvement book about achieving success through daily motivation and self-examination. Achieve Anything In Just One Year will be the last self improvement book you will ever need. You will learn to make small daily choices that will transform your life. It will help you find your personal inspiration, rediscover your motivation and propel yourself out of an unfulfilling existence. It will show you that the key to a happier life is contained in the dreams you already have.

My Thoughts: This book is to be read a page a day for a year (365 days). However I am just doing the review of this based on the first 30 days into the book.

I like how it takes you 1 day at a time. That makes it so much easier to achieve your goal. Some Self Improvement books jam all of this information and things you need to do all at once. That's Not good when your trying to improve upon yourself because getting everything thrown at you at once can weigh you down so much and make you feel like you can't accomplish anything.

I started reading and doing the exercises that they give you to do in the book. All you will need is a notebook and a pencil and about 10 - 15 minutes a day to do these exercises. No additional Tapes/CD's To buy like some of the others just a notebook, pencil and some time. I will continue to go threw the book and I hope to bring you updates along the way.

For self Improvement books this one is different, and I mean different for the better. I am only 30 days into this book but I already feel better about myself. I can't wait to see what it will do for me when I complete this book. This book is defiantly worth giving it a try.

How To Never Look Fat Again - Book Reveiw

How To Never Look Fat Again by Charla Krupp

Published: March 10th 2010 by Springboard Press
Hard Cover - 256 pages

ISBN#: 0446547476 (ISBN13: 9780446547475)

My Thoughts:

I was happy to get the opportunity to review and giveaway the Book How to never look fat again. So all my winners should be receiving their copy shortly.

This book has over 1,000 tips so that you don't look fat. This isn't a diet book it tells you how to look thinner with out putting yourself threw all that dieting. The tips are on the clothing, the way you wear your hair, cosmetic and other related tips.

I love how the book tells you how to wear something to make you look thinner plus it has colored pictures to show you how changing some colors and pieces in your wardrobe can make you look thinner.

This book has been very helpful and is a good resource over and over again. This is defiantly a book I will keep around and refer to it from time to time.

The Clouds Roll Away by Sibella Giorello
Page 187

An argument erupted among the assistants - who performed what duty at the last crime scene, who owed favors. I turned away, walking up the sandbar, the smell of the river like a tickle at the back of my throat. As I stepped into the water, silty sand give way under my feet, the cold temperature of the water seeping through the rubber of my boots. It soothed my nausea.

If you participate or want to add yours leave the link to your post in the comments below or if you don't have a blog leave your Teaser Tuesday in the comments. I can't wait to read them all.

The HandMade Market Place: by Kari Chapin

It's an exciting new world for crafters. Handmade is hip, creativity is what the market wants, and there are many profitable sales opportunities that didn't exist a few short years ago. For crafters who have more confidence running a sewing machine than setting up a Web site, The Handmade Marketplace breaks down and makes sense of the global possibilities for marketing and selling crafts.

The Clouds Roll Away: By Sibella Giorello

Closing her assignment with the FBI's Seattle office, forensic geologist Raleigh Harmon returns to her hometown of Richmond, Virginia, expecting a warm welcome. Instead she finds herself investigating an ugly cross burning at a celebrity's mansion and standing in the crosshairs of her boss at the Bureau. And the deeper Raleigh digs into the case, the murkier the water becomes. Until she's left wondering who the real victims might be.

I got word that I won some book giveaways so I hope I will be getting in some of those books this week.... I can't wait to see what this weeks mail box will hold.

Amazing Africa Projects You Can Build At Home Review

Amazing Africa Projects You Can Build Yourself by Carla Mooney

Published: January 1, 2010 by Nomad Press
Paper back - 128 pages

ISBN10: 1934670413
ISBN 13: 9781934670415

Description: Separating the vast continent into its many distinct and diverse countries, this comprehensive reference introduces the ancient civilizations and tribes, unique traditions, and amazing wildlife of Africa. With 25 fun projects that kids can complete using easily accessible supplies and even recycled materials, this study clearly demonstrates what life is like in each unique setting.

My Thoughts: My Children and I had fun and learned about Africa reviewing this educational project book. My children had so much fun doing some of the projects in this book that they didn't even realize they were studding about another culture.

There were so much information in this book and 25 really cool projects that the children can make their selves. The children learned so much about Africa with this book and they got to make leopard masks and we did
Adinkra stamping as the two projects we picked out to do in this book.

The Adinkra stamping was their favorite. They got to use my potatoes to cut shapes out and with the stamp pad they made all kinds of symbols and shapes. They really had fun with that project.

In my opinion this is a really nice learning and fun tool to learn about Africa. My kids had fun and was able to learn at the same time.
